Gene Woodall

I was brought up in a Christian home and was under biblical teaching from as early as I can remember. I was convicted by the Holy Spirit, through the preaching of my father, that I was lost at 8 years of age. Through the movement of the Holy Spirit I accepted Jesus as my savior at that time. At age thirteen I felt the need to “re-dedicate” my life to Christ as my relationship with God had been floundering, at best. My enthusiasm for God and fellowship with God wavered for several years until adulthood. God, by his omnipotence did not, has not, and will not let me go. His love for me has continually drawn me back to Him. Since adulthood God has continually opened doors with opportunities to serve Him. By being willing to serve, God has allowed me to experience Him through teaching (Sunday School, small groups), being a deacon, and now an elder. Most importantly, God continually provides me with many opportunities to share the good news to those who do not know Him and to love and serve those who do. Today, I consider myself truly blessed to be in the adopted family of Christ and I desire to continue on the path of growing closer to my Lord and my Savior, Jesus Christ.
