Deaf Ministry

We are excited about our new ministry to the Deaf at North Wake
The Mission of North Wake is to reach the lost and equip them to join with us in the process of becoming mature and ministering worshipers of God. It is our heart-felt desire to be able to include the Deaf community in this mission.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the Deaf Ministry here at North Wake, please contact Adrianne Miles, our ministry coordinator, at AdrianneCMiles@gmail.com.

Sign Language Interpreted Services
Our 10:45am Sunday worship service is interpreted each week. Interpreters are also available to interpret our 9:00am Adult Life Change classes. However, because there are three Life Change classes to choose from, please contact our ministry coordinator (AdrianneCMiles@gmail.com) so that we can make sure to have an interpreter for the class you wish to attend.

The MOPS meetings here at North Wake are also interpreted.

Events and Activities
A couple of our interpreters have organized the Deaf Chat Group of Wake Forest. We meet monthly at a local restaurant to socialize and get to know each other better. For more information, please visit http://www.meetup.com/Deaf-Chat-Group-of-Wake-Forest/ We would love for you to join us!

In November we offered a very basic introductory ASL class for anyone interested in sign language. We hope to offer additional classes periodically. Information will be listed on this page and in our church newsletter. We encourage any interested individuals to attend.
