Life Change

Life Change

At 9am and 10:45am we have a program for adults called LifeChange Fellowship which provides great opportunities for getting to know one another, as well as, in-depth Bible study.  The classes meet for 6 months at a time to allow members to spend the other half of the year serving the body in various roles.

What’s new in LifeChange this semester?

This year we will be offing electives for you to choose from.  We still desire for you to study the same hour as the rest of your small group, so that you may go to corporate worship together, but you can select the class that you are most interested in.  The LifeChange classes offered this semester are:

The Letter of Hebrews – 9:00 & 10:45 – Room 601
The goal of LifeChange is evident in its very name: to change your life. This is done when we “look to Jesus, the author and protector of our faith” (Heb 12:2). The book of Hebrews is about Jesus. The author of Hebrews wrote this book to encourage his audience to see the superiority of Jesus over anything else. If you are looking for a class that will strengthen your faith and change your life, please come and study “The Letter of Hebrews” with us this Fall.

The World Next Door – 9:00 & 10:45 – Room 602

“The World Next Door” seeks to help you understand how many of your neighbors see the world and equip you to give a defense for your hope in Christ. This will be accomplished through discussing introductory highlights to many of the major cults and prevailing worldviews present in our community. Then we will respond to particular elements of each with dynamic Christian belief and teaching.
Knowing God Part 2 – 10:45 only – 201 Overflow Room
Knowing God is a class designed for those at North Wake who are interested in maturing in the Christian faith. Part of our mission statement says that we are “in the process of becoming mature and ministering worshipers of God” and to fulfill this we must study the core tenants of our faith. A. W. Tozer comments, “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” What comes to your mind? Are your thoughts of God mature? The Knowing God curriculum has been developed to provide you with the foundational teachings that will help you deepen your relationship with God!
