Gathering for Prayer

10.04.19 | by Larry Trotter

    NW Family -

This weekend marks a significant development in our community as the Summit church opens their new Capital Hills location just south of us on Capital Blvd. in North Raleigh. The Summit is a great blessing to many in our community and at NW already, providing us resources and encouraging relationships and much, much more.  In a day when the church is sadly divided and even competitive, we want to welcome the Summit and bless them as they join us here in the Wake Forest/N. Raleigh area!

You may be wondering how a church the size of NW could possibly be a blessing to a church as large as the Summit? Good question! One of the best answers is to pray for them! Toward that end we will be relocating our Sunday evening prayer gathering this Sunday (10/6) to the parking lot of the new Summit facility. The details are below.  I do hope you and your family will join us for this important time of welcoming and blessing the Summit Church in prayer!

Thankful for you all and your generous, prayerful willingness to bless others!

NW Corporate Prayer Gathering Details for 10/6

WHEN: We will meet at the Summit Church parking area at 6:15pm this Sunday evening, 10/6. Feel free to meet us there or to carpool from NW.  Carpoolers need to depart from NW promptly at 6:00!  We will load up and head back to NW at 7:15 to be back by 7:30.

WHERE: The Summit Church, Capital Hills Campus, 3901 Capital Hills Drive, Raleigh

Childcare?  Nope. Bring the kiddos along! We’ll spend part of the time singing and reading scripture and praying all together, but will also break up to prayer walk the outside areas of their property.  You can do that as a family or with your small group or other NW friends!

Student Ministry D groups?  Yep.  Student D groups will be meeting on our NW campus at 6pm as usual. They will be joining us in prayer from that location!

The weather looks to be nice and cool and dry Sunday evening.  We will be outside for this time, so dress accordingly!
