Student Ministry at North Wake
Student ministry exists to extend the core mission of North Wake church to our students and families. This means we want our students and their families to know the love of God in Jesus Christ, grow in love for one another, and go in love to reach our neighbors near and far. All of our ministry to students flows out from our theme passage of Colossians 1:28-29:
“Him we proclaim warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me”
Locations and Times
On Sunday mornings, students gather in building 2 during the second service (10:45am-12:05pm) for a time of Christ centered teaching and discussion. We seek to demonstrate how the gospel speaks directly to students’ lives and how true life is found in knowing and following Jesus.
On Sunday evenings, students gather from 6pm – 8pm for community based discipleship. During this time students split into grade/gender specific groups of their peers. Each group is led by adult volunteers who seek students’ maturity in Christ through building an authentic community that seeks to know Jesus and grow in love for each other!
If you have any questions or just wish to know more about these weekly gatherings email students@northwake.com.
