Lord, I lift up my friend to you that they would grow in maturity:

FOUNDATION ON TRUSTING THE SUPREME CHRIST JESUS   

• Faith in Jesus Christ, Rescued from domain of darkness, transferred to Jesus’s kingdom, Redeemed & sins forgiven (Col. 1:4, 13, 14)
• Seeing Christ: Creator, sustainer, head of church, beginning, firstborn from the dead, fullness of God, reconciling and making peace by blood of his cross (Col. 1:15)

FIRM AND PROTECTING THEIR OWN FAITH           

• Not shifting from gospel, Protected from false but plausible arguments, Not captivated by philosophy & tradition, legalism on food, drink, holidays, angels, vision, No powerless asceticism (Col. 1:23, 2:4, 8, 16, 20)
• Encouraged hearts, knit together in love, fully assured; Focus on things above, hoping in Christ’s return, Recognizing yourself as God’s chosen, holy, loved (Col. 2:2, 3:1, 12)

LIVING MATURELY                           

• FOR ALL CHRISTIANS: Love; Living worthy, Bearing fruit, growing knowledge; Enduring, patient with joy; Thankful, Compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, forbearing, forgiving, & over these love, Ruled by peace of Christ, Christ’s Word in you, teaching, admonishing in wisdom, singing, Doing all in name of Jesus; Praying for others to stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God (Col. 1:4, 10, 12, 3:12, 15-17, 4:12)
• PUTTING TO DEATH sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, covetousness, anger, wrath, malice, slander, obscenity dishonesty, disunity or bias on ethnic background (Col.3:5-11)
• IN HOMES AND WORKPLACES: Wives submitting to husbands as fitting in Jesus while Husbands loving wives with no bitterness; Children obeying parents; Fathers never provoking; Those working obeying sincerely, heartily as for the Lord; leaders acting justly & fairly; Continuing in prayer, watchful in thanksgiving (Col.3:18-4:1)
• FOR THOSE OUTSIDE THE CHURCH: Praying for opportunities to make gospel clear; Wisdom with outsiders making best use of time, gracious speech to answer each person (Col.4:3, 5, 6)

Pray like Epaphras that those you know will stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God. (Colossians 4:12)
