The Beatitudes: Who are you? What do you love? How do you live?
As we have walked through the book of Romans on Sunday mornings, we have been confronted with one question over and over: How does this change us in ways that matter?
In the beginning of his Sermon on the Mount, Jesus answers that very question with the Beatitudes. This is not an idealistic checklist of aspirational, but ultimately unattainable, traits. Instead, it gets at the heart of how we relate to God, to ourselves, and to one another as we live out our daily lives.
Come retreat with us in the mountains April 10-12 as we study our Savior’s answer to that question and learn how to apply it to our own lives and stories, worship, and connect with one another.
Never been on our retreat before? Here is what to expect:
- Biblical teaching from North Wake members
- A full worship team leading uninterrupted times of worship
- Built in time for you to be alone for personal study and reflection
- Unstructured free time Saturday afternoon to spend any way you wish: shopping, hiking, reading, napping, etc…
