What is GEN12?

GEN12 is an annual pledge offering of sacrificial gifts above and beyond our regular gifts to the church. “GEN12” is based on Genesis chapter 12 where God confers His blessing on Abraham so that Abraham will be a blessing to all nations. This offering reflects the truth that God blesses His people so that we can be a blessing to others; we truly are “blessed to be a blessing!”

What Sort of Projects Does GEN12 Fund?

In the past, GEN12 has been used to fund a variety of missionary, church planting, and local outreach endeavors. Over the next three years, we would like to invest our GEN12 funds in:

• Our next Far Flung Family missionary retreat (2027).
• Continued facilities improvements and campus development here at North Wake.
• Missionary care support for our dozens of North Wake families that serve overseas.

What is The Neighbor-to-Neighbor Pledge?

The GEN12 neighbor-to-neighbor pledge is money that you will pledge but personally set aside to give to nearby neighbors who are in financial and spiritual need! You will write this number on your pledge, but you will not give the funds directly to North Wake. You will keep those funds “in your pocket” so that you can give directly to individuals in need as God directs. This gives you the chance to personally share the love of Christ through word and deed and to partner with fellow North Wakers to meet the needs of people you are directly involved with in our community. We hope this intentional generosity serves as a bridge to verbally share the good news of the love of God in Jesus Christ.
