Holy Week Daily Devotionals

As we enter the last week of the season of Lent, I hope you will take a little extra time to reflect on the love of God for you in Christ as we follow in His steps each day of this last week leading up to the cross. To help you in that, here are some options for daily devotionals for this last week (from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday). Enjoy! Pastor Larry Holy Week

The Covenant Prayer

I mentioned this prayer by John Wesley in Sunday’s Sermon (4/7/19) as a way to pray towards a cross-bearing life. Use it as a way to deny yourself, take up your cross daily and follow the crucified Christ! “I am no longer my own, but thine. Put me to what thou wilt, rank me with whom thou wilt. Put me to doing, put me to suffering. Let me be employed by thee or laid aside

The Secret-Keeping Sisterhood

Here is an important perspective by NWer AD Miles.  AD serves in our Student Ministry leading our 11th grade girls D-Group.  She’s married to Scott and has 2 teenage sons, Zac & Jake.  AD is Assistant Professor of English and Linguistics at the College of Southeastern. http://intersectproject.org/faith-and-culture/abuse-me-too-confessions-middle-aged-baptist-woman/ Thanks!
