Facet of Christ (Day 24)

He said to Zacchaeus, “The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” He is a seeker, a hunter—and the thing he’s hunting for is “the lost.” Not the best; the lost. Dane Ortlund 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:10)

He said, “Take heart; I have overcome the world." If you have Jesus, the looming darkness in your life is not going to overwhelm you; He is going to overwhelm it. He says he already has.
