This past Sunday (6/15) I taught on the very challenging topic of the wrath and judgment of God from Romans 2.1-16. If you’d like to think more deeply about this important topic here are 3 resources I found helpful:
- 3 Sermons by Sam Storms – yep. It took him 3 sermons to get through this passage! So much more detail than I could do in 1!
- 6 1998-99 sermons by John Piper! (It took him 6 sermons to get through these 16 verses!) As always, very careful and thoughtful teaching by John Piper.
- Here is a general commentary on Romans that would be helpful for all levels of Bible students – by British pastor John Stott. If you just wanted one commentary to study along with the next year of teaching in Romans at NW, this would be a good choice! (You can find it used for a good price online!)
