James: How to Live with Difficult People

Encountering everyday challenges and interpersonal conflicts is a part of life, but how should we as Christians respond? The Epistle of James offers practical guidance for those seeking to live out their faith authentically amid real-world struggles. This course explores James’s teachings on controlling our speech and our own preferences as well as developing genuine faith that is evident through our actions towards others. By practicing the teachings of this book, participants will gain insights into recognizing their own spiritual shortcomings and learn how to seek God’s help in cultivating a life of patience, compassion, and integrity. Join us as we discover how to apply James’s wisdom in order to maintain Christ-centered relationships even in the toughest times.

Our 2024 Special Seminar Series offers you the chance to meet and learn from some of North Wake’s finest teachers as they share topics they’re passionate about. Each week presents a fresh opportunity to deepen your discipleship to Jesus in transformative ways. Highlights include: exploring God’s kindness through the Psalms, gaining insights into understanding and managing anger, discovering practical tools for studying the Old Testament, and what does the Trinity have to do with my faith.
