Discussing God’s Word Together

Adult Discipleship Courses (ADC) meet Sundays at 9:00am & 10:45am. Prepared Bible Teaching from elders and other skilled teachers helps you grow in Biblical literacy and apply God’s word to daily life. Mutual Learning & Discipleship happens when Christians study God’s word together and discuss how to apply it meaningfully.

Walking in The Spirit

Beginning Sunday, January 4th, 2026
Time & Location: 10:45am in Bldg. 6, Rm 602

Lead Teacher: Jason Burgess

How well do you rely on God’s supernatural power? Do you rely on Him the way the early church did in Acts? How in tune are you with the ways God the Spirit is working around you? This course will help you understand, see, and experience the supernatural work of God the Spirit in your life.

Holy, Righteous & Good

Beginning Sunday, January 4th, 2026
9am in Bldg. 6, Rm 601

Lead Teacher: Jerry Lassetter

Paul says that the law is good if used legitimately (1 Tim 1:8). He also says in Romans that the law is upheld and holy, and that the commandment is holy, righteous, and good (Romans 3:31; Romans 7:12). So what is meant by all this high praise?

In this 8 week course, we will explore the Old Testament Law (from Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) all the way through to the New Covenant, helping us understand why the writers of the New Testament praise the Law as they show its fulfillment in Christ. We will begin by studying examples of the law (i.e. the Ten Commandments) and tracing them to Jesus. We will then broaden to big-picture themes like God’s prior grace in covenant-making and the tabernacle as a shadow of Christ’s work and God’s indwelling presence today.
